I was on a ride on Wednesday morning and smashed a spoke and my wheel was then un-true so I took the bike in straight away.
When I went to collect it they had replaced the spoke and trued the wheel for free, which was totally unexpected as I'm not a big spender with them but I though that was really nice.
I will make sure I throw any business I can their way from now on.
Just wanted to hijack the thread and throw some love at my local tri shop - High Peaks Cyclery. (http://www.highpeakscyclery.com) They, quite simply, rock.
It's in Milton Keynes in the UK and it's called Phil Corley Cycles (the owner Phil Corley was the British National Road Race Champion in 1978) so he's a bit of a legend around her.
A few weeks ago my bike and I had an unfortunate incident with a pickup truck (note: stop at red lights, esp. when the ground is wet). Mostly, I need new wheels.
Buchannan's in Norman helped me get what I needed to get back on the road, but also -- without a word to me -- replaced my jerry-rigged electrical tape mount for my computer with a nice, solid plastic piece that will be much more stable. No charge, either.
