Hi, BT'ers!

I'm coming into New Roads on Monday for work and will be there for at least four weeks. It'd be great if there are some people I can join up with for some training!

I've been told that the only place to get in a good swim will be the river... (My OWS skills will certainly improve) My bike should arrive some time Thursday. And, of course, my go-fasters will be ready to go as soon as I arrive.

I will have some limited transportation around the area (besides the bike).

This certainly sounds like a personal ad, doesn't it? Wink That's okay with me, though! If we can't hook up to train - maybe I can join up with some of you for a time out. Since I am single and all...no reason to stay at the hotel! Smile

Looking forward to being miserable in the LA heat and humidity!

Welcome to LA.  Definitely going to be some hot training in August.  I live in BR, but the lake during the week is a great place to swim.  Weekends are a little more busy with tons of boat traffic.  Sometimes BR Tri does some open water swims and rides at the lake, but don't know if there are any planned for this month  Decent roads around the lake.  Hopefully, someone closer will post.
