Subject: Ride on the nose of the saddle for 112 miles? For 40K or shorter I love to ride on the nose of the saddle. I feel that I have the most power while in the aero bars sitting there. But for Ironman I can't imagine riding there for 6+ hours.
I have a Selle San Marco Ponza Trilon saddle, the one that comes stock on the Cervelo P2C, and I can't seem to find the sweet spot for riding in aero over long distances. The nose is nice and cushy for nose riding but when I try to sit a little further back on the saddle, I find the well padded nose gets in the way. Should I try a different saddle or is this something I need to get used to?
