Subject: Quintana Roo wetsuit
I got a QR quickjohn back in July for my second sprint race this year. I absolutely love it! It fits great, no chafing problems, keeps me warm, and helps with the buoyancy. If anyone has trouble with the swim or gets cold really easy like me, give a wetsuit a try.
It's also very easy to remove in transition. I started unzipping it as I left the water and just pulled it down when I reached my bike, no problem at all. I'm sure the full length wetsuits are probably a little more difficult to remove, but since I have a sleeveless shorty, it was simple.
Maybe find a friend who has one and give it a try, you may see improvements in your time and the goosebumps won't be so bad.
One thing to remember, some races do not allow them when the water is above a certain temperature, make sure they are permitted first. Also, train without it, but wear it a couple times during training to see how it feels.
