We got married at the Longswamp Inn B & B, a little bit west of Allentown. Haven't been there in years, but it was nice when we had our wedding there!

Thanks! Anything I was finding in Allentown/Bethlehem wasn't that great. One or 2 decent ones, but they were booked.

If you're willing to be an hour from Allentown then stop on through Lancaster County. Amish Country is full of great B & B's and horse-drawn wagons, of course!

Or continue north and stay in Jim Thorpe. That area is an outdoor athlete's dream.

I live in north Lancaster County.  I can't go down the road without having to pass a horse and buggy.  There are some nice b&b's here but I still think new hope would be better.  maybe that's because I grew up here my whole life?  Whichever you chose let me know how it turns out.  Jim thorpe is a good recommendation as well.

I'm not finding much guys. A lot of the places don't have great websites (not very interactive or many pictures) and the ones I do find are sold out.

Hoping I don't have to stay in a chain motel.

Check out Bear creek resort out side of Allentown but it has great resturant and full spa and really nice rooms. I think the web site is Bearcreek mountain resort. Lancaster has a great one....Churchtown Inn. My wife and I always try to visit different ones when we travel, but this one is the only one that we've stayed at more than once. Just south of Bethlehem is Wydnor Hall B&B. Not much (if any) website but I've heard nothing but great things. Alot of Lehigh University parents use it. We also have a night in Sept booked at the Tattersall Inn near New Hope. You're very close to the canal path there, plenty of opportunities to bike or run.

I snowboard at Bear Creek so I agree that the resort looks great.  I don't really have any more suggestions.  The place where my wife and I bought our shed this summer just opened a B&B.  They're an amish family.  I have no idea if the B&B is nice or not.  Here's the link, http://www.homesteadguesthouse.com/ .  Good luck!

x2 on Bear Creek, They have good deals and aren't far from Allentown and not too far from Phila. It also a very nice place and has a nice restaurant on site! if you want to visit. As an added bonus, there are GREAT mountain bike trails on site if you are so inclined.!!!! I rode there last Sun and there is a Mid Atlantic Super Series race there this weekend.
