Anyone know anything about the Blue Marsh Sprint Tri (Sept 20)? Debating throwing in one last race!

I don't know that race - it's the same day as the Marshman in Chester County.  I know the course, though.  It looks like it starts at Church Road parking lot, with 2 laps of swimming from one side to the other of the lake (where I usually put in for kayaking and safety boating).  I've biked the bike course which is a tad hilly on the western side.  I haven't run the road there, but I have done the trail.

Right now, I don't have anything on my agenda for Labor Day (Monday) if anyone wants a safety boat spotter to practice the course.  I'm slow on the bike (not enough T.I.T.S. this year), so while I am game for the bike leg, I wouldn't want to slow anyone down.  I might ride the course myself to get some hill work in, but I don't expect others to slow down for me.

Do not know alot about it I think this is the first year, I rode the bike course today as well as the run course, the bike is a 2 lap 6+ mile loop of short hills and false flats, challenging. The run course is about 1.6 miles up hill and 1.6 miles down hill, very challenging run. Pretty sure I am going to do this along with a few other friends.
Good luck  see you there.

Thanks for the insight. Definitely not enough lately for my either. Been mostly running since I got off most of my training in mid-July. Hopefully I'll see you all there.

I'm doing it also.  I have biked the course (one loop) and it's hilly.  The run course is steady incline and then "rolling hills", but it's basically uphill going and downhill coming back, with a few of those "rolling hills" thrown in for good measure.   This will be my first official Triathlon-  Partipated in SheRox but that became a Duathlon and then a giant mess.   Anyone have any advice for a beginner triathlete on this kind of course? I'm thinking this could be one of the most challenging courses around?

I am by far no expert, but my advice is stay within yourself, do not worry about everyone else. Swim, bike, run your own race and you will do great. I will be there with a few friends. See you sunday and good luck.
