Its no secret I have trouble in the saddle. I need more time ridding so I have been trying to find a group to ride with.
Driving through Berkeley the other day I drove by a large group of 30-40 cyclists, rolled down the window and asked who they were...the Oakland Yellowjackets.

Went yesterday for my first official group ride. It was so much fun, huge group, all different paces, and real nice people. When they saw the pace pick up and I got dropped one or two hung back to pull me back in. Cant wait to go again.

My friend belongs to that group. He also belongs to Team Alameda and I've ridden with them and also had a blast. I think these big bicycle clubs are fun to do long distance rides with.

funny I just saw a group start from where I run....they were from Fremont...Fremont FreeWheelers I think were thier names...looked to have a good group and I was thinking of joining them for a  ride or two to see how they are...any knowledge of them?
