Pre-race routine:

Missed the 7:00a ferry to Matha's Vinyard so I had to wait for the 8:15a ferry. Because of this I did not get to the strat until 9:45a (the race started at 9:00a). Me and another guy decided to still ride the route and agreed to pull each other.

Event comments:

Last year I rode with a pack of about 30 riders for the first 30 miles, the last 30 miles I took off with the lead group of 6. Last year my time was faster because of the 30 person (and 6 person) paceline. This year it was just me and one other so there was alot of pulling which slowed our pace. Additionally the weather which was high 40's and threatening to rain the entire time took away some of the fun for the day.
