Subject: A good auto mechanic?
I need to take a car in for brake work and diagnosis of a strange sound...Any suggestions of where to go?  I am located on the east side of the University.

I took it to CarX on East Washington.   They have provided great customer service so far.  We'll see how it plays out.  It turns out that the brakes are fine...the worn rear wheel bearings are causing the problems.
