Im looking for a few informative book on how to be a more efficient athlete.  I have a history of cycling so the bike part is not really a problem but i sink like a brass paper weight.  i can swim ok but i tire out after about 7 to 8 laps or 10-11 min.  thanks in advance.

If you desire to improve your swimming to be a more efficient triathlete, than forget the books and get a coach - either private or Master class.

For swim specific I have seen suggested,
Terry Laughlin's Total Immersion.  I have never read this but it is referenced a decent amount in the Triathlete's Training Bible

Thanks for the question. I was looking at multiple books at the book store this past weekend and walked with none.

I prefer Going Long by Gordo, also for some light reading, give The Slow Fat Triathlete a go, its funny and amusing.

I have both of these they just came in the mail.  I might pick up the fat tri book alittle farther down the road, I also just got the new Dan Brown book.
