Subject: Low Glycemic Pasta So I had some of this stuff for 2 meals prior to my race this past Sunday, dinner and lunch on the 2 days leading up to race day, and I felt great for the whole race. Was that due to fitness level? I doubt it, since I trained less than my previous race and this swim leg was almost 3x as long. I also pushed it much harder during the bike and the run. So my quesiton is, what does BT think about low glycemic pastas? From what I understand, they burn more slowly so they are not stored as quickly (does that sound right? ). Anyway, what's BT's take? |
