Subject: RE: FIRST TRI is this weekend-- what should I be reading?Transition advice....practice. I learned from practicing i like to bike with bare feet and put socks on in T2. Prior to practicing transition (that is, practicing it soaking wet like you will be ), i planned on putting socks on in T1. Optimize energy....get good sleep and eat how you normally would. I start making sure I'm hydrated a few days out. Don't forget...make yourself a list. goggles, bike shoes, helmet, race belt, socks, sneakers. The rest you can live without if you have to. Oh yeah, & toilet paper.....portopotties can be out of TP if it's a big race. Good luck and just have fun with it! That's why most of us do this! |
