Subject: tire pressure for sprint race in the rain
I normally keep my tires fully inflated at 120 psi.
It looks like our race on Saturday is going to be very wet.   Any suggestions as to what tire pressure I should use?

I would drop 20 psi, that's what I read here in a search a few days ago.

You thought about a rite with a tread rather than just slicks?
There are some 700c x 25 tireswith tread I was looking at for just this reason.

I wouldn't bother to do anything different from normal. Take corners easier, and watch out for road hazards that look like shallow puddles.

http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tires.html - scroll down to the section on hydroplaing to see why tread is a non-issue for cycling in the rain.

Depends.  If you're racing against me, you should go all the way down to 50psi.

Otherwise..... just be careful.

I think it depends on allot of things, how many turns, what type of tires, and how wet the roads are, how much it will be raining. I wouldnt run at the max if you think you might go down, maybe it would be a race moment decision depending on conditions.
