Subject: RE: Road Biking Shoe question Some thing that seems to work for me... A short way before T2 dismount, I will losen the straps...on mine it is fairly easy to pull the velcro (I only do on the largest strap) then reattach it around 1/2 inch or so from fully lose. This keeps the strap "attached" so it won't get in chain etc, but is easily lose enough to slip foot out and put on top of the shoe. I am a newbie, but haven't splatted doing this yet (but I did practice a ton in a parking lot first).
PS: getting on, same in reverse...have strap as loose as I can, while still having a little velcro attached...shoe attached to pedal. For me tis easier to hop on feet on top and then slip them in later. Edited by RiverRat50 2009-10-16 5:23 PM
