Warm down: walking and stretching. Drinking plenty of fluids. I even had a beer. What limited your ability to perform faster: I slowed down to conserve energy and paid the price by losing time. I used muscles I had used before during a long run. During training I never slowed down. Event comments: It's a great race. A boston qualifier and plenty of support from the spectators. It's a great way to spend a weekend in Vermont. I'd rather do this ran than the Boston Marathon. I would do the Boston once (if I qualified) but no more than that. Last updated: 2005-05-31 12:00 AM
