I'll be hanging out at the T3 Multisport booth. I know G-Moose is going. Anyone else? I was there today, too. Great event!!! Did Vern pay you for being his model at the tri bike fit seminar Naw, no pay, I'm more than happy to do that for Vern. It's going to help me get even more comfie on the new QR too. What did you think of the symposium overall? Really found it useful with some outstanding lectures. I did the TAP swim (video analysis ), which was very helpful. Looking forward to next year's event. If you (or anyone ) need your swim recorded, I do that several days a week at the Monon Center in Carmel. Also, we start swimming in Morse Lake in Noblesville on 5/1. I spoke to Steve Tomboni yesterday, and he's going to have a group swim/bike/run the Endurathon course over Memorial Day weekend. I was there also. Give me the details on the swim recording. What it provides, time, cost, etc. Thanks. This was an extra cost ($30 ) break-out session during the symposium (which was also great deal @ $30 ($25 if YMCA member ) for tech-T shirt, lunch, & few extra goodies ). Around 50min small group session. We warmed up around 10min, then a senior instructor from SwimFit took underwater video via a boom-mounted camera as we individually swam by (collecting front, side, and back views ). After taping we sat poolside as instructor reviewed & critiqued our strokes using slow-mo, reverse action, etc. First time I ever had my swim recorded. Amazing the difference between my perception of body mechanics & what a actually was doing in the water. |
