Subject: Shoe question - speed laces So, the past several pairs of running shoes I have purchased have been Brooks. First pair fit and felt great, so every time I have replaced them, I just got the new version of the shoe. I have always outfitted them with the elastic stretch cord laces, so I could slip them on and off quickly.
Well, went to buy a new pair in Dec, and decided to try something new - a pair of Saucony's. As I have for the past several years, I outfitted them imediatly with the elastic laces.
My problem is that I cant seem to get the right foot tight enough, it seems loose, and does not seem to be offering enough support. After my last two runs, my right ankle has been sore.
I really dont want to have to go with traditional laces, and other than the sore ankle, I really like the shoes. Anyone have any suggestions. Anyone use any other speed lace system that I should try? |
