Subject: Progress How’s it going people? 1 week into training.
It seems I am very unfit. I am trying to build a good base. Is the Gym ok for the moment or is it better to run outdoors.
This is my program at the moment. I would appreciate any advice.
I can only swim about 200m and that is not continual. (Always after all of the rest below )
I do 20min on a treadmill
I do 20min on a bike
I also do 20min on an Elliptical trainer.
30min of weights on 1 body part per day.
Good news is that I lost 6lb and 2% body fat in my first week. 36 to go!
I am an intense sort of person and maybe I panic a bit. I plan to train for at least 8 months before attempting a Tri.
