Subject: Hammer Gel refill

I have a 26 serving (refill) bottle of raspberry Hammer Gel that I haven’t used since September. The bottle has a best sell by date of 7/23/11. I was wondering if it goes bad after it has been opened or if it’s ok to still use? I couldn’t find any info on there web site.

On the label in black next to the nutrition facts:

"Refrigerate opened bottles for storage longer than two months"

Of course, you're talking about a NJ winter, so that might as well be refrigeration.

I will admit to having several bottles of Hammer gel (opened) that I've used for more that 2 months... probably up to about 3 months. We sometimes mix flavors in flasks, and the less popular flavor will take a while to use up. Never had a problem.
