Subject: Langley area cycle shops
I have recently moved to the Walnut Grove area of Langley, and thought I would ask if anyone had any comments, good or otherwise, about local bicycle shops.

In particular, there is a shop called Velocity. I will need to have some maintenance done to a bike that has been sitting in a box for too long  (unless a local BTer is able and willing to provide some 'wrenching' work in exchange for bevvies of your choice....

Apparently they are one of only two Felt dealer's in the lower mainland so I was going to drive out there and check them out.

I've heard some good stuff about them, and been in there once. Lots of bikes in a small shop! I've trained with the owners wife a few times who does tris so maybe they'll start carrying more tri gear!!

Good shop.. owners name is Travis.. his wife is doing IMC this year.. Found their prices on accessories to cheaper than any where else I've looked, especially since they are always flexible with the pricing...  Even though, I bought my Guru Crono from pacific multisports, I'd have had no issue with buying a bike from Velocity.. I'll be up there buying a spare tube, Co2, and some tire levers this week.. Ahhhh... tire levers.. after Friday's ride.. I'll never leave home without them!!
