Louis Garneau Speed Matrix Bibs - $125

Selling like new Louis Garneau Speed Matrix bib shorts. This is LG's top-of-the-line race bib. Men's. Size Large. Used only one time (40 mile ride), so shorts are basically brand new. Incredibly comfortable short, but unfortunately, just a bit too big for me. Retail for about $190, so here's a chance to save some $$$ on a premium bib short.

Garneau's Speed Matrix clothing is tailored with dimpled Speed Tech fabric, the most aerodynamic knit available for speeds of 15 to 45 mph. When the fabric's surface is covered with dimples, a thin layer of air (referred to as 'boundary layer') next to the fabric becomes turbulent, producing a microscopic pattern of fluctuations and randomized flow. This turbulent flow can better follow the curvature of a cycling position resulting in a smaller wake and reduced drag. The dimpled fabric also promotes moisture evaporation by constantly pulling perspiration away from your body and exposing it to air currents, accelerating the drying process.

The Speed Matrix short (and bib short) showcases a new generation of innovative fabric construction and chamois comfort. Dimpled Speed Tech fabric is lightweight and aerodynamic with superior moisture managing properties. 10-panel, flat-seam construction provides a contour fit with no seams on the inside of the legs, alleviating saddle/short chafing while pedaling. Garneau's cutting-edge Matrix 3 Gel chamois features two ergonomically positioned gel inserts to eliminate the pressure at your sit bones and a center insert that relieves pressure on your soft tissue when you're riding on the nose of your saddle.
