Felt confident about swim. No problems other than to learn to keep mouth shut.
What would you do differently?:

Keep mouth shut. Lungs full of water at the start of the race tends to hamper breathing and sets overall mood of race.

Calves & shins cramped up pretty bad at the start of the race. Was unable to concentrate on breathing, and tended to get panicked & winded very quickly. Not happy at all with run.
What would you do differently?:

Practice, practice, practice. Run is definitely my weak spot.

Warm down:

Walked around till HR calmed down. Drank water & gatorade.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Inhalation of lake water at beginning of race & poor running ability.

Event comments:

Overall, a great experience for my first race. Am looking forward to my next one.
