Subject: WTB 58cm / L tri bike or frameset
I am new to the sport, just completed my first sprint, and want to upgrade my 15 yr old road bike to a tri bike.  I am looking to spend either $1500ish on a frameset and build from there, or $3000ish on a complete bike.  Specialized, Cervelo, Felt probably.  2008/2009/2010.  

I'd love to hear any recommendations, any mistakes to avoid, and of course anyone who is selling a bike/frameset that fits that criteria.

There is a 56cm Cervelo P2sl listed on SlowTwitch in the classifieds.  They say the Cervelo sizing is understated, and I found it to be true too.  There is also a 58cm listed.

If you are interested, I have a 2009 Look 576 Large, that would fit you, complete bike for sale. Would be well under your $3000 price point. In fact, far enough under that you could afford some race wheels.

Let me know if you're interested. Bike has about 200 miles and one race on it.

Thanks for the posts - ended up buying a 2008 Specialized s-works transition module.  Now off to find SRAM parts and wheels.  My fantasy bike!
