. Seriously, in case you didn't know, if you need to you can hold on to any kayak as long as you don't make forward progress. You can rest, catch your breathe, fix your gogggles, etc... The folks in the kayak are not allowed to stop you from continuing if you grab a hold. They will just note your number to make sure you do make it out.
