Comments: I felt good the 1st mile. The previous year I faded a little on mile 2. I did better this year, but still felt like I should have been faster. First half of mile 3 was a little rough. It just seemed to take longer than expected to blaze through that last mile. I should have turned on the speed a little sooner at the end and trusted my legs. What would you do differently?: Begin final acceleration sooner. Post race Warm down: Walked and stretched. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not much. It is mental at this point. Event comments: This is a great event. The best part is watching the elite runners at the end. Vey cool. http://www.eliteracing.com/exec/elite/Carlsbad.cfm?publicationID=4 Last updated: 2005-07-18 12:00 AM |
