More mentor groups

Just my thoughts:

Either let the mentor groups last longer before putting them in archive, get more mentors so the groups don't close so quick or give more notice before opening them to sign-ups.  They were closed before I knew they were starting.  I guess many of my old group moved on.  So... 

I never understood why they were closed with so few people in the first place and why they lasted such a short period of time unless someone had a dream of getting people to know more people in a short period of time.  Problem is there is huge turnover.  People move on, drop out entirely or get busy and quit posting. 

I think groups are great.  But, they need to be allowed more chance to grow organically and for people to find their own friends within the structure and create sub groups but that takes more people and more time.
