Expert  1013  White House, TN |  Subject: RAGBRAI*sigh* I just realized today that it's the last full week in July. As a 100%, black and gold Iowan, that means just one thing: RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa). 10,000 people pedaling and drinking their way across my glorious home state. Small town America turning out in its finest to welcome these total strangers (and the thousands of dollars they'll bring to the local economy). Wonderful mid-ride staples like Pasta-fari and Mr. Pork Chop. *sigh* Hopefully next year. |
