COJ Photo contest week 7 voting poll

A lot of photos are not appearing.

I clicked on your link, above, and a new window appears to the photo thread.  In that thread are a number of pics that were posted that are not appearing - they appear as the dreaded red-x-in-white-box.

If you get a new window check to see that you are logged in in that window.  That got me this morning all I was seeing was red Xs in the new window but I also had the log in stuff up top.  If you right click and open in a new tab problem goes away. 
 

the people that are seeing the red "X"  when you get redirected are you logged into BT?   I ask since when I clinked on the link yesterday, it took my to the thread but I somehow was no longer logged into BT in that new window/tab.  Once I went back to COJ and just clinked on the link I could see them again??


No idea why that happens, but that's what I noticed

Gaarry and Kate - I'm logged in, but the cookie should be read in the cache, so I wonder if there's a "weirdity" with how the page is rendered.
Same thing happened in Firefox.

nope when I click on the link and the new window opens, I'm not logged in to BT in that new window..  Happened both in Firefox, IE.   don't know why... I just know that it happens

I see, i've had that happen in the past with links on here (not this time but in other pages).

Do you want to approach this with Ron and Marmadaddy in the developer's forum or me?

 I think you have a lot more computer knowledge than I do, so I'll defer to you.  I just know that it's happened.   both on a mac running firefox, and a windows pc with IE.    My guess is that you already have a good idea of what's going on or not going on.   When it happened at home on the mac, I just thought it was an odd quirk and it was just me.

 agreed... It's my favorite thread.  I really enjoy looking at others photo work..  There are some really talented people on here

(had some power outages here yesterday which prevented me from getting it up yesterday).
