Subject: RE: Rev3 South Carolina : Official Threadpschriver - 2010-11-20 7:55 AM Chad, FWIW, I felt the same way after my first HIM. The second went much smoother and actually felt easy. You have a whole year to prepare. I understand completely if you don't like the distance. I personally think Olympic distance is a great distance to maintain fitness and health. Once you start going beyond that injury and body damage become a higher probability.
Rubber 82, I didn't pick up on that Well, it was more that I probably shouldn't have raced based on the cuts I'd done to my training. It was really an untrained HIM, and that's not quite smart. Oh well, it was fun, I'm just not sure that I really WANT to put the time in to being prepped for a HIM again. Heck, I didn't train for the last one, so I can't quite wrap my head around doing another yet. I'm sure I will in the future, I'm just not sure when it will be. |
