Shimano Shimano PD-A520 SPD Pedal - $

I have a pair of PD-A520 SPD clipless pedals for sale. I used them for around 100 miles on my new Tri bike and decided to switch to a different style because my new Tri shoes have a 3-bolt style. SPD pedals use a 2-bolt pattern.

I was using SPD pedals on both my MTB and road bike because I could use one pair of shoes for both. I bought this set for my Tri bike. The cleats have not been used at all. (I'm keeping the pedals/cleats from my road bike, the pair for sale is the new pair I bought for my Tri bike).

One advantage of using SPD on the road bike is that MTB shoes are easy to run in and usually use velcro enclosures. The cleats are recessed so running into/out of transition is faster and no worries about slipping.

I've been very happy with the pedals and would have kept using them if they were compatible with my new shoes.
