Subject: Tips for how to log a swim meet?

I successfully created an entry for a local indoor tri earlier this year, had it show up in my planned races list, and then did a reace report for it.

I would like to do the same for a masters swim meet I am doing next month.

The wizard allows me to set the race type to swim, but then the next menu shows just the events. I would have to create 3 races and I don't want to clutter things up, unless that is the recommended way of doing it. (Oh, but the 500 free isn't even one of the options.)

I was thinking I could just select "other" and set the "swim segment" to the total yardage of my events. (On the extremely rare chance someone else here signs up for the same meet but different events, the yardage would be wrong for them.)

Any tips? Recommendations? Experience with the same situation?

I would do the 'other' and create 3 separate events...not a big deal.  OR just keep selecting the original listing and after you import it into your race log, just change the date and any other swim paramters.
