Zipp 404 Clincher 2010 Mint With ~ 477 Miles

Very lightly used 2010 24-spoke Zipp 404 Max clincher rear wheel. I log pretty meticulously and calculate 477 miles including 1 HIM, 2 Oly's and some mechanical checkout rides. This wheel is in near mint condition, absolutely true, and nearly indistinguishable from a new wheel. It has never been crashed. There are no flaws, nicks or scratches in the carbon. There are no dings whatsoever on the aluminum brake track. The cassette spline is immaculate, with no wear through the anodized red coating. Price is $725 plus $35 shipping. Sale includes an 80mm extra long valve stem tube, a valve stem extender, an installed Continental rim strip, and a Zipp OEM skewer. It is a 2010 rear wheel with the 188 hub, toroidal cross-section, and Sapim C-Xray spokes. It was purchased new by me in April 2010.

This is a 2010 Zipp 404 Max clincher, with 24 spokes. Zipp reports is weighs 903 grams, or 17 grams more than Zipp's standard 20 spoke wheel. Zipp adds 4 extra spokes at 4 grams per spoke to the Max version for heavier riders (I'm 175 pounds). I bought this last Spring to make a disc-cover rear wheel with ... never got around to it and now I'm just going to buy a disc... so I am selling.
