Run
Comments: Felt good until about mile 18 or was it 19. Then my stomach began to feel upset and the dizzyness came around mile 22. Had to stop and walk to get rid of the dizzy feeling. Eating a cliff bar helped. Began to run again after that. What would you do differently?: I would take in some solids along with the power gel and I would avoid drinking as much as I did. I only got off pace when my stomach started to really hurt. Post race
Warm down: Didn't cool down as much as I should have due to the rain. Walked some, didn't stretch enough. Took endurox. Drank some more and had 1/2 a bagel. Later ate some more solid food. What limited your ability to perform faster: Stomach pain and dizzyness, also the rain. Event comments: I think that without the rain and without catching a stomach virus I would have enjoyed the race much more. Even so it was a good, challenging race and the volunteers and fans were so great. Last updated: 2004-02-03 11:42 AM

Had a plain bagel and drank some water and gatorade.
Porta-potty lines were visited many times, ended up taking Immodium. Drank some more water.
