The generosity of others

I'm a BOP triathlete, going to do my first IM this Sunday and I've been getting kind of nervous about it.  A couple of days ago when my b/f and I were discussing the race he asked me who I found most inspiring and I said Gordo Byrn because he's a great athlete and also wrote the training book I turn to most often. 

Today I got a good luck e-mail from Gordo!!! 

I'm really hyped at the generosity of people in this sport, it's so inspiring how people will go out of their way to do an act of kindness for complete strangers.  

Still floating on cloud 9, and just wanted to share.
