Subject: Aussie newbie Hey all, I'm 29 and started training for my first tri (8th Oct!) back in March/April. I used to be a competitive distance swimmer in my teens but since then I've done pretty much nothing and piled on so much weight. I've gone from not being able to run at all to running 10km+ in just 4 months as well as losing 35kg so far! I'm really excited about doing Tri's.. can't wait! I'm also doing the Sydney City2surf run in 6 weeks. I just love being addicted to fitness again! |
