Subject: Marginally tri-related Kia ad
I just saw an ad on TV with a bunch of people dressed in tri gear with body marking listening to a guy giving a pep talk in front of a Kia sedan. I'm not really clear on why, but there you have it.

Yeah, I've seen that one too.  I suppose it's because the car they're trying to sell is a SUV, and so triathletes need one of those.  We're the hot new demographic, dontcha know?!

The thing that bugs me the most about that commercial is that they get the order of the events wrong.  I think he says "run, bike, swim" or maybe "bike, swim, run"  at any rate it is WRONG.  Argh.

In military circles, KIA stands for killed in action.  Not a very good name for a car.  Not to mention the fact that they're all fairly unattractive.
