wow. I underestimated the hills. The grade % was much greater than the athlete's guide. I did get to see a tarantula!

The nice part is the decent back...nice 6 miles or so back to t2...allows you to spin your legs and release the lactate acid and helps get the legs ready for the run. Really helped give me a pain-free run

more hill climbing.

grabbed a bunch of free food and drink!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

1 more year of training should get me a podium in 2012!

Event comments:

good race. Lots of aid stations, lots of post race food and drink. Its a climber course...if anyone reads this for future reference DO NOT bring your tri bike to this race unless you are a hill climber on said bike. Its a roadie course all the way. I only wish I would have used my light-weight climbing wheels.
