Subject: RE: Chicago MarathonWell I finished... My clock said 5:22, the email updates (with splits)from the race all were longer than what I tracked. It had me finishing in 5:36. Either way, I finished, and am already thinking about how to improve for the next one (Maybe Az RnR in January). My legs are thrashed. I felt great and was having a blast until about mile 10. Then I started slowing. At mile 22 my right knee felt real bad. I limped the last 4 miles, but it was incredible to turn the last corner and see the finish line. I had a wonderful time out there (despite how my legs feel). |
