a disastrously slow run, far off my desired pace, far slower than my major goal.

run faster

What limited your ability to perform faster:

ate too much lunch. Had a cold. I suck.

Event comments:

A good first race. Excellent community support, probably arounnd 200 total runners and walkers. Small, cute, they say they'll run it again next year. Beautiful foliage.

Why are you doing distances in kilometers, man? You live in Ohio. Be clueless like a true patriotic American and only use miles. It took me a solid 25 seconds to do all the math to figure out how fast you were actually going.
