Run
Comments: Ran with a friend and her 11 year old daughter (daughter's first 5k). I tried to teach Callie the "airborne shuffle" to conserve her energy. She got tired and wanted to walk and Susie was trying to encourage her. She did great for her first 5K! What would you do differently?: Run a little faster Post race
Warm down: Walked around until my HR came down. Drank a .5 liter of water and ate a orange quarter. What limited your ability to perform faster: Knees giving me a little misery. Event comments: I would do this one again. It's in memory of a Baylor student who died of luekemia and it raises money for the Team in training crew. I am a TNT alum, so I will support them when I can. Last updated: 2004-04-17 12:00 AM
