Transit strike

Okay, I know unions exist somewhere in the South. But after reading about the NY transit strike, I got to wondering how Georgia, etc., weren't "blessed" with them. Could you imagine all the bubbas that would come out of the woodwork with their shotguns if, well, Georgia had a city the size of New York with the transit system they have, and people had to walk to work? At least some people would get in better shape. And we're so incredibly dependent on cars down here. My random thoughts for today...
