Wanted: Road/Tri Bike under 500.00 SC

I did my first sprint in August and have been racing/training on an old Steel Frame Trek 300 58 cmwith downtube shifters and pedals with leather straps. I think I am ready for an upgrade. I am 6 foot 1, 225 lbs, please hit me with any offers. I am in the upstate of SC, but my parents live on the coast, so I'd be glad to pick up anywhere in sc. If I don't get anywhere with this I may go ahead and buy the 2005 felt 70 at carolina triathlon for 750.00.....
