Lost my rubber bands, gel packs and water bottle about 1 mi into the race. Threw the bottle to the roadside and retrieved it later. Otherwise all went well.

A great run. Legs did not feel rubbery at all as they have during training bricks. Very satisfied.

Took 2nd Place in my age group and brought home some hardware. Very satisfied for my first-ever multisport event!

You rock triman50!!! Way to go! I wish I could say I brought home some hardware yesterday....but it was a fun race anyway! A little chilly for me, but a great first race. I talked to alot of fellow first timers yesterday - too bad we didn't cross paths!
