What would you do differently?: Maybe cut down on the walking in the parks, but I a blast with my family so I believe it was a good trade off. Post race

We got to Shades of Green on Wednesday aroun 1:00 pm. We hit a park each day. I know this is not real smart, however our kids and my sister and her family and my parents also met us down there. This was my first 1/2 and I was doing it with my wife ( it was her first event longer than a 5 K). I was the moral support for her for the race.
The temps at Disney had been around 70-75 for wednesday and Thursday. Friday's high was around 60-65. Then Saturday was cold. It was in the mid 30's when we got to the race. Big shift is temps. Luckily the wife and I were prepaired. We both had 3 light layers of tops. I was silly and brought only shorts for the prerace (I guess if you are going to be dumb, you have to be tough...)LOL.
We started in corral G, next to last, and did not cross the start line untill around the 18 minute mark. It was a packed start but thined out around mile 2. Over all great time. I look forward to running it next year. It was a great experience for both my wife and I. I believe she is excited about competing more in the future.
