just got them tonight!!!  the cushion category...fit me like a glove over the other brands...feet can breath well.  my flat feet r extremely happy in them so far with no additional support.  ~$80 (OHIO)

more to add after i log some miles in...tendonitis is virtually gone...a hs cross-country coach fit me and i learned a lot on getting back on track...AND THE IMPORTANCE OF A FITTED PAIR OF SHOES.

i was wearing a pair of unfitted nikes for last year.  i know they contributed to a lot of the trouble...not being fitted.

(this is my 300post!!!  had to write something!!!)

I have uses Asics Gel 1080's for a couple of years now. Never had any problems with them. Best runner I have every worn. Just bought the new 1090's model last week and it has a redesigned larger toe box.

they r a little 'snug' in the toebox...little piggy is just fine though.  if i went a half size bigger than they would be a little sloppy all-around.  i haven't run in them yet...this weekend though so they should relax nicely after a few weeks.

Anyother good shoe, if you can get it there is the Asics Gel Bondi. More a sprint distance shoe however easy to get on and plenty of support
