Comments: I PR'd by nearly 2 minutes on my previous best 10K....so, I am pleased as punch. I took 3rd in my age group and I got a plaque. What would you do differently?: I lost to my friend Johnnie Cooper by 13 seconds. He got a quick lead on me and never relinquished it. I thought he was going out too fast and was gonna die...that didn't happen. I am happy for both of us, as we both set personal bests.  Post race
Warm down: 1 mile cool down run....then went on a 50 mile bike ride! What limited your ability to perform faster: No real taper Event comments: Was fun to race head to head with my friend Johnnie Cooper. Was a nice day and I raced well. Last updated: 2006-02-22 12:00 AM

1 mile warm up, with a few speed strides
