Subject: WTB - Front Specialised/Hed3 Carbon (3 spoke) Clincher 700

Hi All,

I have a 700 specialised carbon 3 spoke rear clincher wheel and I'd like to get a used matching front wheel - I've been watching evilbay for awhile (there is currently one listed whcih I keep getting out bid on).

Anyone have one to sell and advice as to where I might get hold of one.

I know the feeling, I just purchased one on ebay a couple of days ago.  Hope I wasn't the one bidding against you.  I never bid until the last 20 secomds of the auction, then I put my maximum price in and wait.  I paid $253.00 for the trispoke clincher.  I'm anxous to get it.  Good luck in your search.

Hi Al,

If you bought in the past month then we have probably been bidding against each other - I tend to be a 20 sec bidder also, though I have changed tactics at the moment and bid early - all that seemed to do was radically inflat the price early.

Anyway, I'll keep trying...

By bidding early, you only increase the price.  Set a limit before hand then wait until the last 20 seconds and put your limit as the maximum, no matter how low the price is at the time.  Then be patient and wait a couple of seconds and see if someone else can type fast enough to out bid you.  Good luck.
