Comments: So many people, it was hard to get out and find a good pace. Was weaving through people for the first 2-2.5 miles. This probably helped, as I had a ton of energy for the last 2 miles. What would you do differently?: I would have tried to get to the front quicker. I ran with a friend until he fell back at about mile 3-3.5. Once He fell back I picked up the pace and finished strong. Post race Warm down: Had some food and some beer. (Free beer for St. Patty's day. What limited your ability to perform faster: Crowds and hills. I could have done probably about 2-3 minutes faster. Event comments: This is a good run especially early in the season if your not looking to PB. Was a little cold due to the snow and wind. Last updated: 2006-02-16 12:00 AM |

Had a muffin and some Propel Fitness water, read the paper and relaxed prior to leaving
Tried to stay warm and loose. The cold weather really tightened up my legs.
