Under training as well as bad weather I guess.

Event comments:

Well I guess I need to get more training in, I am so busy I hope that my next race in 2 weeks goes better.

I am not to upset I knew that I was going to have some trouble with this race due to time binds with other commitments. I am disappointed with my bike. I thought I was in better bike shape, I will need to work on this.

As far as the run well you can't call it that it was a very large disappointment. I thought I was further down the road then I am.

I look forward to getting better.

After all I can't get much worse!! LOL

Thanks for reading I feel better..

Hey, nice race. I live in the south so luckily one thing we dont have to worry about is dressing for cold weather after a swim...brrr...Training will improve your times...at first by leaps and bounds, then by little bits, but you have to figure out how much time you really have to train (it may be more or less than you think) and then make the most of it!

Hey it's not that bad Roy. I think just getting through a triathlon, no matter where you finish, is a huge accomplishment. You are miles ahead of all the people who didn't even enter the event. Now you have results to build from, just take it one step at a time. Pick an area where you want to improve the most and work on that in the next event. There's only one way to eat an elephant...one bite at a time.

Good Job out there. The important thing is you finished what you started. Now that you know that you can do it you will have more confidence in your self and your time will get better.

Great job on completing a tough event - those distances don't look like any sprint I've ever thought about entering! 25km run!

It's a start and you know you can build from here - my first event earlier this summer was also a big disappointment but it has focused my efforts and I know I'm going to make a massive improvement in my times in 5 weeks time!

Hey that would be a great achievement if it was a 25 km. run, BUT NO.

It's was only a 8 km. run.

I guess I'm getting over the disappointment of that day and am moving ahead .

I am in a play and even though I have a race in 2 weeks (same distance as this race) I need to learn some lines.

Man sometimes your the loin and sometimes your the prey.

I feel like a little of both today.

Thank you for the kind words.

Roy
