Runner Live Tracking App for Droid and Iphone

It would be for a third party to track me.  Data is taken care of with the garmin.

The times that the mapmyrun live options has worked it has been great.  You can see on your cell the exact location of the runner and how fast they are going, but it doesnt work as expected very often.

I use Endomondo. They can track your location live and can also text you with "pep talk"

I hadn’t thought about Google latitude, going to look into it and see how good it works for this, even if it would be nice that it were a running oriented app.

I really like the concept of Glympse, I’m going to download it and see how well it works.

My wife likes to give me pep talks during my long runs while she tracks my progress from the comfort of our couch.

Thanks for the tip.  Got the app and it seems very promising and simple to use.  Will report back once i have had an opportunity to run and test it out this afternoon.

I tried glympse yesterday and it works fairly well, it is not run oriented but it certainly would do the trick for tracking a runner during a marathon.

In regards to Endomondo, i got the app yesterday and played with it for a while and i have to say that i like it a lot.  What i haven't been able to find out is if you can track someone using Endomondo as well from your cellphone app, i tried the tracking feauture on the computer and it worked great.
